Angelina is an educator, writer, director and producer. Her talents include teaching, producing, administration, fundraising play writing, story writing, choreography and directing.

Angelina Cacciato was born in Capizzi, Sicily and immigrated to Canada in 1958 with her family. She graduated from York University in Theatre Arts and from the University of Toronto in Education. After graduating from York, she set up her own theatre companies in Ottawa (The Sunday Company) and in Toronto (the Re-cycle Players) and produced the programs "For Kids and Other People" and "Quarterly Report" for Skyline Cablevision. Later, Angelina taught Drama for six years at Canterbury High School in Ottawa.

Angelina has a strong commitment to culture and the arts in her projects. She has produced and written segments on minority ethnic musicians for CBC Radio's "Performance" and developed workshops to help groups understand the media; published the book "Gaining a Voice" and produced the eight part series "Gaining a Voice" based on the book. She has also produced Music Mondo, a pilot about music and culture (aired on CBOT) which is in development as a series.
